Ethan did eventually come down with the fever that Andrew had, so he was not feeling well at all Friday night. On Saturday he was feeling well enough to run to Lowe's with me to buy some plants. Vegetable gardens are "not allowed" here in our housing area, so it's container gardening this year! Right now we have about half a dozen herbs going; we may try some tomatoes in a week or two.
I should say that by Sunday night, both boys were feeling great! Whatever bug they had moves on in about 36 hours.
On Monday we hosted the children of a friend who's also moving to the area, while their parents got moved in to their house. It was a really hot day, so I turned the sprinkler on in the backyard and let them run loose for awhile out there. I am sure all children slept well that night!
Tuesday was a stormy day. Now, it did not start that way, so I got up at 6:00 to go for a run. Dayton has a wonderful system of bike/hike trails, so my plan was to start at "point A", run south for 6 miles, then turn back north and run the six miles back. Well, somehow I didn't see the marker for mile six, so I ran probably another quarter mile before figuring out I had passed it. At that point it started to sprinkle. That soon became a soaking rain! I didn't mind running in the rain per se, which is good because I had no choice at that point, but my shoes got wet and felt soooo heavy! The next day my ankle muscles were really sore from lifting the heavy shoes- never had that before.
It stormed off and on for the rest of the day so I took the boys across the street to the National Museum of the United States Air Force. It's free, and it's wonderful! We spent about two hours there and only saw two or three exhibits.
Ethan and Andrew began their new Mom's Day Out program Wednesday, so I got a little break to get a haircut and run some errands (it was a rainy day, too). What a busy week!

Hi Erin,
Thanks for the update, I check back now and then to see what's going on with you guys. Does it rain there a lot, or has it just been lately? Glad to hear everyone is feeling better!
