First week of June (date?): Went strawberry picking! Ryan didn't have class that day, so he got to go with us.
June 8th: The Strawberry Festival in Troy, OH; if you look closely in the river, you'll see a bunch of rubber ducks racing. There was some sort of charity drive involved with this, but we didn't make it in time to "buy" a duck, so I'm not sure what it was. Andrew started walking this week, too.
June 14th: I ran a half-marathon in 2:21:20- that's no world record by any means, but it's 11 minutes, 18 seconds faster than the one I did last fall, so I was pretty happy about that. No pics, though.
June 15th: We set off for Georgia to spend the week with Ryan's folks. We celebrated Ryan's 35th birthday, visited a farmer's market, swam in Uncle Greg's pool (Ryan's brother), went to the zoo, and of course, got to ride Papa's tractor!
June 23: said goodbye to Molly, the cat Ryan and I got in 1996 when we first got to Pope AFB, NC. The only pet we have now is our other cat, Heidi. As much as we miss our other pets... I think we'll be a one-pet household for a long time.
We're back home now. Ryan's regular classes have begun and so we're getting into some regular activites now, such as the pool, library, playgroup, bike rides, and visiting all the neat parks around here.
