Our Weekend

We had some really decent weather this weekend! We took advantage of it and spent a lot of time outside on Saturday, going for a family jog and a trip to the playground. After lunch, the boys enjoyed playing in the green turtle sandbox that we gave Ethan for his second birthday.

Heidi enjoyed some fresh air and rolled around in our garden patch for awhile- she got filthy!

This weekend we also had company for dinner one evening and enjoyed brunch at "the Club" on base after church. It's still windy here, but it's nice to have the temperatures up in the 50's and 60's for a little while.

Fun in Lubbock

We decided to head to Lubbock, TX last weekend for a short family getaway. We spent most of Saturday at the Scince Spectrum museum; Ethan's been there twice before, but this was by far the most fun he's had. Andy really got in on the action, too!

The boys enjoyed exploring the inside of a giant mouth.

Andrew had fun forecasting the weather:

Ethan was fascinated by this kinetic sculpture created by George Rhoads. He had seen the same one being made on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood the day before!

I decided to put Andy in the baby carrier and stroll through the exhibit on economics. This is Andy's opinion on the matter:

We spent the rest of the weekend shopping and splashing in the hotel pool. A good time was had by all!
