Almost-Summertime Fun

May was a busy month for us. In addition to two campimg trips and Ethan's birthday, here's what else we've been up to:

Ethan and Andrew both loved this little fishy ride at a carnival on base. It was Andrew's favorite last year, too.

Ethan and I enjoyed some of the "grown-ups" rides. He did really well.

Caleb's baby dedication was on Mother's Day. You will notice that the older boys are far more interested in seeing what's in the communion plates than they are in the babies.

Yum! Caleb loves Cheerios (and anything else he can feed himself).
Ethan wrapped up AWANA Cubbies. Next year he'll be in Sparks!

The older boys both got new bikes. Well, technically they did; we got Ethan a new 16 inch bike for an early birthday present, and Andrew inherited the "big red Elmo bike". They both love them and we hit the trails regularly for a 2 to 3 mile ride.

A replica of the Wright "B" flyer flew right over our yard a few weeks ago. This is an amazing place to live as far as aviation history is concerened; some B 25's from WWII flew over our house about a month prior to this.

Sidewalk, or I guess I should say back patio, chalk art. This is Ethan's rendition of a bluebird.

And two staples of summerfun: swinging and water fights!

And now, we really do plan to wrap up our school year tomorrow. I guess Ethan will officially be a kindergartner!

Wow, can't believe how big Caleb is getting! Time sure does fly... He's just as cute as his older brothers. Hope you're all still enjoying your home and all of your space :)
