We hope everyone had a blessed Easter! We spent the weekend here in town- they boys went to an egg hunt on Friday with their playgroup, and we went to our church's Good Friday service in the evening. We did some house hunting on Saturday. On Sunday the boys found their Easter baskets and did an egg hunt in the backyard, then we went to church then off to Young's Jersey Dairy for lunch and another egg hunt.
It really wasn't that warm a day, but some of our friends from Clovis will fondly (I hope) recall that a little cold weather never deterred us from having an egg hunt!
Ryan snapped a picture of this sweet bunny rabbit that was nibbling grass outside my window on Friday aftrenoon.
Coloring eggs on Saturday evening.
Discovering the Easter baskets

The egg hunt. Don't let the sunshine deceive you; I think it was about 35 degrees out there!
All dressed up for Easter!
Now, about that house hunting- since we're staying in the Dayton area for a few more years, we've decided to try to buy a house. Living in this townhouse is the first one I've ever lived in where I really felt that I just didn't have enough room. In our almost 14 years of married life, we've never had a house over 1650 square feet, so I don't think it's that I've gotten used to the high life or anything. But we're realizing that by the time we leave Dayton in about three years, our kids will be about 7, 5, and 2 1/2.
We're actually bidding on a house right now. If it goes through, I think it will be a great house and I'll write more about it later. But if it doesn't, our search continues...
