We got more snow again the night before last, and while it was chilly this morning (28 or so), there was virtually no wind! That's rather unusual for this time of year in this part of the country, so the boys and I took advantage of it and bundled up and played outside for about 45 minutes yesterday morning. By now (Friday morning), most of the snow has melted and I think that's the last we'll see of it for awhile, based on the weather forecast.
Snowpants, boots, heavy jackets, etc. really add up monetarily, but the investment pays off because it really expands your options on snowy days! The biggest gripe I have is how LONG it takes to get both boys dressed to go out! It can be funny and frustrating at the same time; for example, Ethan will forget to put on his snowpants BEFORE his boots and have to start all over; I'll get Andy all bundled up and realize he's stinky; or we'll be outside and Ethan will look at me with a sense of urgency and announce he's got to go potty even though he just went before he got dressed up. Oh well, it gets us out of the house and we get fresh air and exercise! And it's worth it for the fun they have, especially Ethan.

On another topic, I found a neat way to display Ethan's many art projects that he makes at Sunday School, Mother's Day Out, and at home. Our computer can be seen from the living room, kitchen, and office area, so I've started scanning his projects into the computer and setting that file as my screen saver. Ethan is thrilled to see them scroll across the screen! I love that I can continually see all of his artwork that I simply don't have room to store or display. I still keep his more currents pictures hung up, but as they get outdated I just start scanning!
